For more than 10 years, Ayamo has been constantly searching for the realization of its purpose: feed the world’s prosperity. We operate in the food business focusing on the international trade of fish, seafood, meat – chicken, pork and beef – and various products for animal nutrition. Our vocation is to generate business that maximizes results to all stakeholders involved.

Our history
Ayamo Foods is born in Santa Catarina, Brazil - The heart of Brazil's Animal Protein Export - with the objective of promoting South American seafood to the growing and emerging African market. Our first international company is set up in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Participation in our first international trade show. Affirmation in the Angola market as a major player for fish from South America, which proved that we are on the right path, generating regular volumes of business.
Creation of Ayamo Foods Brasil. Opening of a office in the city of Itajaí, Brazil's main fishing hub, supporting the growth of the company and its operations in the region.
First participation in a trade show with our own stand at Apas-Brasil, in order to receive the biggest customers from abroad, promoting our services and products sold to the world.
Diversification. That was the key word for this year. A time of economic recession, when determination and creativity were paramount for us to move forward, entering new countries and adding new species of fish to our portfolio.
Start of new businesses in the fish sector in northern Brazil, in Belém/PA, with a focus on exports to the United States and Asia. Another result of business diversification, exports of fish meal and oil began.
A milestone in Ayamo's history – entry of new shareholders, bringing new knowledge with them. Partnerships that led to the important Meat division in the company.
Complete expansion. Consolidation of the meat division and creation of the animal nutrition division, with partners that took the company to another level. To sustain this year of growth, investments in a new office and incorporation of new talent to the team.
Consolidation. Goals were accomplished and many achievements shared with our stakeholders. Affirmation as a global company, with services, products and a trusted brand in the market.
New projects and contracts. Restructuring with an emphasis on performance, field performance and trade innovation. Opening an office in Taiwan and aligning the company's DNA.
We complete 10 years of history. And to mark this milestone, we prepared news, starting with the modernization of our brand. Stay tuned, there's much more to come.
The company strategically opened its US office to expand its reach in Africa and Asia. This new branch increases our presence in these important markets, allowing us to better serve customers and drive growth in these regions. In addition, the US office has started importing fish from South America, strengthening our supply chain and diversifying our portfolio.
An important milestone for our company was the move to new headquarters in Itajaí, Brazil. This move signifies our continued growth and dedication to improving our operations, setting the stage for future achievements and success.
